Americablog: McCain gave nearly a million bucks to anti-Jewish terrorist spokesman (Yes, that really is the title of the post, and the "anti-Jewish terrorist spokesman" really does mean Rashid Khalidi).
Because when John McCain says that Obama's aquaintance with Rashid Khalidi proves he consorts with terrorists, the correct answer is not: "But McCain knows him too!". The correct answer is: "Rashid Khalidi is not a terrorist. He is an Arab-American, and a supporter of Palestinian national rights. Neither one of those things makes him a terrorist, and I reject your racist assumption that 'Arab-American' or 'Palestinian' are synonyms for 'terrorist'."
We're coming to the end of a very long election campaign, in which Democrats have (rightly) made much of the racist hate speech directed at their candidate. So how difficult can it really be for the most widely-read Democratic blogs to understand that you don't hurl at Arab-Americans the very same racist crap that you're up in arms about when it's directed at Barack Obama?
