Palestinian relatives of 57-year-old female suicide bomber Fatima Omar Mahmud al-Nejar, cry during her funeral in the northern Gaza Strip of Jabalia. The mother of nine and grandmother of 41 became the oldest Palestinian suicide bomber. A proposal by Palestinian factions to stop rocket attacks in exchange for an end to Israeli offensives in Gaza and the West Bank was rejected as inadequate by Israel.
