Here is today's "Ha'aretz will take money from anyone" moment:
Though of course they wouldn't really take money from just anyone would they? I bet they wouldn't run an ad supporting Helen Thomas' view that Zionist immigrants should get out of Palestine and go back where they came from. Advocating that Palestinians in Palestine should be "returned" to a foreign country they never even came from in the first place is OK though?
Is it even legal to advocate that Palestinians be transferred out of the Occupied Territories? I know that the far right parties in Israel have had to be careful in advocating transfer - making it sound voluntary - precisely because it was illegal for them to advocate involuntary transfer. But this ad doesn't talk about Palestinians leaving "voluntarily", it calls for them to be returned there by someone else, which would be involuntary...
Last time I blogged on Haaretz's sick taste in advertizing, they were running ads from a group advocating the extermination of Palestinians in the West Bank.
This time it's "only" large scale ethnic cleansing to Jordan. Ha'aretz is going up in the world.

Update 9:19: had to change the title. (The original one was a repeat). Sorry for any confusion.
